- Q.01. Is any Document required in order to enter the premises of this Court?
- Original CNIC and Notice regardig fixation of case (if issued by this Court)
- Q.02. Can I file my case in the Sessions Court without engaging a counsel?
- Yes. Petitions and appeals can be filed in person by the party, if so desired.
- The procedure for filing cases/documents is prescribed in the Sessions Court Rules.
- Q.03.What is the District Legal Empowerment Committee (DLEC) and what is
- it's primary purpose?
- The DLEC is a statutory body established at the District level
- It's primary purpuse is to ensure access to justice for indigent and
- under-trial prisoners (UTPs) who cannot afford legal representation. The Committee
- facilitates the provision of legal aid by appointing advocates at government expense.
- Who Chaired the meeting of the DLEC and who are the other members?
- The meeting is chaired by the District & Sessions Judge, Kashmore @ Kandhot
- The other attending members are:
- The Deputy Commissioner,
- The President of District Bar Association, Kashmore at Kandhkot,
- The Superintendent of District Prison, Shikarpur.
- Q.03.How can a person apply for certified copy of order/judgment of this Court?
- At One Window Branch of Certified Copies of Sessions Court Building, prescribed
- forms are available which can be filled in by the applicant and after affixing
- requisite Court fee, if due, one can obtain a certified copy.
- Q.04.Can any person get certified copies of all documents of a case?
- Certified copies are issued as per Order. A party to a case who has
- appeared can get copy of documents on payment of prescribed fee.
- Q.05.What amount of Court fee is to be incurred for filing cases & documents
- and its mode of payment.
